Mabel I. Kearns, 88, of 344 Ninth St and a lifelong resident of Marion, died Saturday morning in a Cedar Rapids hospital following a long illness.
She was born Nov. 18, 1889, in Linn Grove.
Miss Kearns was a piano teacher for many years and was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church and the Musical Literary Club.
Survivors include a brother, Ralph Kearns of Salem, Ore., and nieces and nephews.
Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at the First United Presbyterian Church in Marion conducted by the Rev. Jay A. Miller. Burial Oak Shade Cemetery....
