Cedar Rapids Republican April 21, 1925
George Tranberry, 84, for twenty-two years an employe of the T.M. Sinclair company, died at his home, 1424 K street west, at 2:55 a.m. today.
Mr. Tranberry was born in Denmark, Oct. 22, 1840, and came to the United State fifty-four years ago.
Surviving him are five children, S.E., Chris, Henry, Mrs. J.P. Bizinger, and Mrs. Anna Smith, all of this city. His wife died four years ago.
Services will be held in the Beatty chapel at 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. J.O. Simon of the First English Lutheran church will have charge. Burial will be in Linwood cemetery.
