Oscar Wilson, of Morton county, Kansas, died at 6:30 o'clock last night after a lingering illness. Mr. Wilson was formerly a resident of this city, but later lived at Moravia and then settled on a claim in Kansas. He was born in Ohio, but had lived most of his life in Iowa. He was 46 years old. Besides his wife he is survived by two children, Oscar, aged 6, and Goldie, aged 4 years, all being in the city. A short funeral service will be held at the Turner chapel at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, Rev. E.J. Lockwood officiating. The burial will be in charge of local Odd Fellows, he having been a member of Acme lodge No. 505, Oxford, Iowa, and interment will be in the Odd Fellows lot in Linwood cemetery.
