Mrs. Charity Leon Lehr Gibson died at 7:40 o'clock Tuesday morning at a Cedar Rapids hospital, after a brief illness. She was born at Lisbon March 12, 1892, to Harvey and Rosa Muss Lehr, and was married November 27, 1918 to C.D. Gibson, and they have made their home on a farm five miles east of this city.
Besides her husband she is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Carrie Frantz of Martelle, Mrs. Susie Keith of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Eva Bohr and Mrs. Maude Miller of Lisbon, and one brother, Charles H. Lehr, of Marion.
Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon at 2:30 from the Yocom chapel, with Rev. E.T. Gough, pastor of the Methodist church, in charge. Burial will be made in Oak Shade cemetery.
