David F. Hindman of Marion Is Dead at 75
David F. Hindman, 75, of 1245 Tenth st., Marion, died Saturday. He was born Oct. 26, 1884, east of Marion. He moved to town 14 years ago.
His death was ruled a suicide by Dr. Gerald Sunner, deputy coroner. His body was found in the basement of his home. A .22 caliber rifle was near the body.
He was married to Mabel E. Cory Dec. 30, 1908. She died in 1955. He was married to Ethyle Wood Burmingham Aug. 8, 1959.
Survivors include his wife, 2 sons, Marvin of Meserey, and Albert of LaPorte City, a daughter, Mrs. John Dixon of Marion, 2 brothers, Harry of Springville and Clarence, of Central City, 2 sisters, Mrs. George Joyce of Springville and Ada, of Alhambra, Calif., and 14 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Murdoch chapel after 3 p.m. Sunday.+
