Sam Miller Dead at Home in Robins
Sam Miller, 75, lifelong resident of this community, died at his home near Robins, Tuesday at 9:45 p.m. He had been in failing health for two years, and for the last month had been confined to his bed.
He was born April 16, 1855, on a farm north of Marion, and married Delia Huffman, Sept. 27, 1876. Surviving are the widow and six children, Carl of Long Beach, Calif.; Claude of Munnsville, N.Y.; Frank of Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Maude Mitchell of Rowley; James of Buffalo, N.Y., and Neal of Robins. Nine grandchildren, Edna, Florence, Ralph, Evelyn and Alvin Miller of Munnsville, N.Y., Catherine Miller of Long Beach, Bonnie and Donald Mitchell, Rowley, and Howard Neal Miller, Robins, also survive.
The funeral will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. in the Yocom chapel. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery.
