Dolores J. "Dolly" Bennett, 56, of 1550 Country Club Dr., Marion, formerly of the Clinton area, died Friday afternoon in her home following a long illness.
She was born Sept. 27, 1930, at Moline, Ill., and was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry Bennett of Tulsa, Okla., and Michael Bennett of Brodhead, Wis.; her mother, Lola Petersen of Clinton; a brother, Rudolph Skonberg of Durham, N.C.; a sister, Edith Naeve of Andover; and a grandson.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Murdoch Chapel in Marion, with the Rev. Dick Watkins of First United Methodist Church in Marion. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call at the chapel from 2 to 9 p.m. today.
