Mrs. Carl Irwin, Alburnett, Dies
Mary Irwin was born May 25, 1877, near Van Horne, and died this morning at 6 o'clock at St. Luke's hospital at the age of 49 years, following a lingering illness.
For the past 12 years she and her husband, Carl Irwin, have lived on a farm near Alburnett. Previous to that time, they made their home in Marion for about eight years.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, William and one daughter, Ruth, both at home; two sisters, Mrs. W.H. Bradbrook of Van Horne, and Mrs. Jens Cook of Marion; four brothers, Felix Bachman of Van Horne, Luke Bachman and Christ Bachman of Bingham Lake, Minn., and John Herbst, of California.
Funeral announcements will be made later.
