PRAIRIEBURG--Funeral services were held in St. Joseph's church Monday morning for Joseph B. Holub, 81, who died in his home near here Thursday evening after a nine-week illness. Burial was in St. Joseph's cemetery.

His wife preceded him in death about 15 years ago, but he is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Jake Kozena and Mary Lola, Center Point, Mrs. Mike Hansen, Pipestone, Minn., and Mrs. Bill Drexler, Prairieburg; and 10 children and 36 grandchildren.

Daughters are Elizabeth, Mrs. Ollie Kula, Mrs. Raymond Kula, all Prairieburg; Mrs. John Kula and Mrs. Louis Kula, Cass Center. Sons are Michael, Albert, Edward, Anton, Prairieburg, and Joseph, Springville.

Pallbearers were Stanley Holub, Ernest Holub, Leroy Holub, Leonard Kula, Arthur Kula and Leroy Kula. His nephew, Rev. William Holub, read requiem high mass, Rev. Stephen Kucera, Prairieburg, served as deacon, and Rev. J. J. Hennessey, Castle Grove, as sub-deacon.
