The death of Mrs. Myrtle Bailey occurred at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Barnhill, last Saturday, after a lingering illness of consumption. She was the wife of Bert Bailey, who, with one child survive her. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from the M.E. church, Rev. F.W. Luce officiating. It is fresh in the minds of our citizens that Mrs. Bailey's brother, Harold Barnhill, died of the same dread disease only a month ago. This, coupled with the fact that both were young and universally loved and respected makes this death unusually sad.
