Miss Minnie Lathrop Dies in California
Miss Minnie Lathrop, a former Marion resident, died Saturday in the P.E.O. Home at Alhambra, Calif., where she had lived the last five years.
Miss Lathrop was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. V.A. Lathrop. She was employed for many years in the shoe store her brother, the late Harry Lathrop, operated in Marion. She also was employed at the Killian store in Cedar Rapids. She was a charter member of Chapter CS, P.E.O., and also was a member of the Marion Presbyterian church. She was the last member of her family.
The body will be cremated and the ashed returned to Marion.
