Last Rites Thursday For Mrs. Frieda Moore
Mrs. Frieda Suntken Moore, 67, died Tuesday afternoon in the Baptist parsonage after a brief illness. She was the mother of the Rev. Charles Moore, pastor of the Marion Baptist church.
Born Jan. 20, 1882, at Essenes, Germany, she came to the States when a girl. She was married to Charles Moore, sr., in July, 1903, at Gibson City, Ill. She came to Marion from Chicago with the Rev. Moore more than four years ago. Also surviving are another son, Wesley Moore of Priest River, Idaho; a daughter, Mrs. Selma Nichols of Milford, Ill., and seven grandchildren. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Services will be conducted in the Yocom chapel at 4 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Frank Ward of Cedar Rapids. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
