Helen Chislett Dies in C.R. Hospital
Mrs. Helen Chislett, 85, Marion resident for many years, died Wednesday at 9:20 a.m. at a Cedar Rapids hospital. She had been making her home with Mrs. Lillian Whittemore at 562 Seventh avenue and she was a member of the Marion Presbyterian church and Grove City Rebekah lodge.
A native of New York state, she is survived by a niece, Mrs. Bessie Jillson of Ogdensburg, N.Y., who has wired that she will be unable to come to Marion for the services, the time of which will be announced later. Mrs. Chislett's body is at the Yocom funeral home.Cedar Rapids Gazette Saturday March 10, 1944

Services for Mrs. Helen M. Chislett were conducted Friday afternoon at the Yocom chapel by the Rev.C.V.R. De Jong and Grove City Rebekah lodge. Mrs. De Jong was soloist. Burial was in Oak Shade cemetery and pallbearers were W.B. Sebern, John Reinheimer, A.J. Taube and W.G. Neill.
