Thomas Frank Hand, 69, employed at Link-Belt Speeder the last 10 years, died in a Cedar Rapids hospital Wednesday night. Lifelong resident of Linn county, Mr. Hand farmed a number of years before moving to Cedar Rapids.
Surviving are two children, Floyd Hand of Walker and Mrs. Cleo Tharp of Cedar Rapids. Maud H. Ring, to whom he was married Aug. 4, 1909, died Feb. 4, 1935. On Nov. 27, 1947, he was married to Mary Paulson, who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. C.H. Paul of Cedar Rapids, and two brothers, Clarence of Center Point, and Milton, of Woodburn.
Services will be conducted at Sarchett-Murdoch funeral home, Center Point, at 2:30 p.m. Sunday by the Rev. Virgil Neville. Burial will be in the cemetery at Center Point.
