Minnie M. Beattie, 95, formerly of Cedar Rapids died Wednesday at a medical center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., following a long illness.
She was born April 13, 1885, at Marion, and graduated from Coe College in 1904. Her husband, the late George Beattie, died in 1948.
Mrs. Beattie was a former part-owner of the Boston Store in Marion and was a former member of the Cedar Rapids Country Club women's golf team.
There are no immediate survivors.
Services: 2 p.m. Monday at the grave in Oak Shade Cemetery by Dr. Glenn Bender of First Congregational Church. Friends may register at Turner Chapel East after 9 a.m. Monday. The casket will be closed at all times.
