CENTER POINT--Mrs. James D. Moyer, 64, city treasurer here for 2 months, died Monday after a short illness.
Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Memories in Cedar Memorial at Cedar Rapids. Friends may call at Murdoch's in Marion until 11 a.m. Thursday.
A longtime resident of this area, she was born Lena B. Harris Oct. 5, 1893, in Ohio. She was married to Mr. Moyer Oct. 18, 1911, in Marion.
Survivors include her husband; a son, I. James Moyer of Independence, and 5 sisters, Mrs. Fred Fox of Marshall, Texas; Mrs. Walter Groffenbach of Ogden, Utah; Della and Lulu Harris, both of Phoenix, and Nellie Clark of Cedar Rapids.
