Death of A.D. Jones.
A.D. Jones died at 6:30 a.m. today at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H.J. Holloway, Mrs. Holloway being a niece. The funeral service will be held from the home Friday at 10:30 a.m.
Mr. Jones was born in Marion, December 9, 1850. When a boy he moved with his parents to Greenfield, Ohio, returning to Marion about the age of 17. He had resided in or near Marion from that time until about ten years ago when he went to Warrensburg, Mo., to make his home with his sister. He returned to Marion a year and a half ago and had been in failing health ever since. Mr. Jones was a familiar figure in business houses of Marion for many years and was always a respected citizen. He is survived by a brother, J.E. Jones, and two sisters, Mrs. David Gilmore and Mrs. B.R. Reichard, all of Marion.
