Mrs. Wm E. Reinheimer died at the family home, 488 Ninth avenue at 8:45 o'clock Sunday evening following a long illness.
She was born at Bertram August 28, 1866, as Mary Achsa King, daughter of Alphaes and Briny King, and as a young girl came with her parents to Marion, and has since resided here. On May 4, 1905, she was married to Will E. Reinheimer at Marion, and all the affection of a mother was invested by her in a nephew, Archie Reinheimer, whom she took to her heart as a son when but five months of age, who survives together with the bereaved husband. Four brothers also survive: Alvin P. and John King of Marion, Henry A. King of Santa Barbara, Calif., and George King of Casa Grande, Arizona. A fifth brother, James, died in Marion April 30, 1937.
Mrs. Reinheimer was a member of the Presbyterian church, worked in the First division of the Ladies Aid, and belonged to the Pastor's Helpers Sunday school class.
Funeral services were conducted at the Yocom chapel Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock with the Rev. C.V.R. DeJong, local Presbyterian pastor, in charge. Burial was made in Oak Shade cemetery.
