James O. Biesecker, 81, formerly of Marion, died Sunday at his home in Paradise, Calif., following a long illness.
Born Feb. 9, 1900, at Fayetteville, Pa., he was married Jan. 20, 1921 to Hazel Flood. He was a member of Masonic Trojan Lodge No. 548 in Marion. He owned and operated a monument firm in Marion for more than 43 years, until retiring to Paradise about 11 years ago.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Robert, of Paradise; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The body will be cremated.
