Services Are Saturday For Zella A. Davis
Zella A. Davis, 71, of route 1, died Tuesday in a Cedar Rapids hospital. Born April 17, 1903, at West Liberty, she was married Dec. 23, 1919, at LaPorte City, to Harold W. Davis. She was a member of St. James Methodist church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are four sons, Lloyd Davis, Ashton, Ill.; Stanley Davis, Saigon, South Vietnam; Robert Davis, Kent, Conn., and Donald Davis, Broken Arrow, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and three brothers, Gilbert Franklin, Cedar Rapids; Orland Frnaklin, Phoenix, Ariz., and Clifford Franklin, Marion.
Services: 10:30 a.m.m Saturday at the Murdoch chapel in Marion by the Rev. Peter M. Morgan. Burial: Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call at the Murdoch chapel. Friends may, if they wish, contribute to the heart fund as a memorial.
