Clara Richards Dies; Formerly of Marion
Clara A. Richards, 80, a former Marion resident, died Tuesday night in Waterloo following a brief illness. Mrs. Richards had lived in Marion for 20 years before moving to Buckingham a year ago.
She was born Nov. 9, 1888, at Waukon and was married to Ed E. Richard on Sept. 12, 1908. Mr. Richards died in February of 1950.
Survivors include a son, Edgar of Minneapolis; a daughter, Mrs. Arthur Glowacki Hoeppner of Buckingham; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services: Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Baxter Memorial chapel by the Rev. Landis O. Gross.
Burial: Oak Shade. Friends may call at the chapel Friday evening.
