FIFTEEN OLD SETTLERS PASS AWAY DURING THE YEAR.
MARY GREER,
wife of John Greer, who came with her husband to Linn county in 1842. They lived south of and adjoining Marion ever since on a farm up to the time of her death, Feb. 20, 1893. She was a hard working woman devoting her entire time to the interest and welfare of her husband and children. She was of a kind and affectionate disposition, doing what she could for her friends and neighbors with willing hands.
