Orva Oran West, 80, of 1101 17th St., Marion, died Thursday morning in St. Luke's Hospital following a long illness.
Services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Baxter, Martinson Funeral Chapel, Marion, where friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to services time Saturday. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.
Survivors include his wife, Marguerite; a son, Orva C. of Memphis, Mo.; a daughter, Susan Ruley of Central City; and two brothers, Avery of Leon and Ira of Durant.
Also surviving are six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and four brothers.
Born Feb. 25, 1910 in Van Wert, he married Marguerite Perkins March 22, 1933, in Princeton, Mo. Mr. West was a farmer and had worked at Whitwer Farms.
A memorial fund has been established. The Rev. Clair Odell will officiate.
