Richard B. "Dick" Day, 69, of 928 Daniels St. NE died Friday, Nov. 17, 1995, in his home after a long illness. There will be no visitation. Graveside services: 10 a.m. Monday, Oakshade Cemetery, Marion, by the Rev. Bill Randles of Believers in Grace Church. Arrangements are with Baxter Funeral Chapel, Marion. Survivors include his wife [private] of Cedar Rapids; two sons and a daughter [private]; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Richard was born June 9, 1926, in Fairfield, to Bertram and Eva Kearns Day. He married [private] on Dec. 27, 1943, in Cedar Rapids. A retired welder for Century Engineering Corp., he served with the infantry tank division in the Army during World War II. Richard was a member of Believers in Grace Church....
