A.L. KNODLE DIES AT HOME OF MRS. IDA HALL

A.L. Knodle died shortly after 10 a.m. today in the home of Mrs. Ida Hall, 446 South Eighth street. He was 57 years of age, having been born in Morris, Ill., Sept. 3, 1862.
He was married to Miss Sadie Hall at Elgin, Il., July 30, 1896. He leaves, besides his wife, one sister, Mrs. Verne Seibert, of Cando, N.D.
Mr. Knodle was express and baggage man on the C.M. & St. P. railroad for about thirty-five years, living in Chicago and running between there and Omaha, and in recent years lived at Maquoketa, running between there and Davenport. He was ill for some time and spent two months in the hospital at Iowa City, taking treatment. He came to Marion about two weeks ago. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 at the home of Mrs. Ida Hall, 440 South Eighth street, and will be private. The Rev. Albert Hale Hanscom will have charge of the services and burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery.
