Frank Lilyard.
Frankl Lilyard, 814 Oakland rd. NE, died Sunday night following a sudden illness. Born March 7, 1882, in Sweden, he had spent the greater part of his life at Boone before coming to Cedar Rapids 10 years ago. A former North Western railroad conductor, he was a painting contractor in later years. He was a member of the Lutheran church and the Elks club at Boone.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John E. Greenlee of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Harry and a sister, Mrs. Mrs. Dee Ford, both of Los Angeles; a granddaughter and 4 great-grandchildren.
Services: Turner chapel at 1:30 Wednesday by the Rev. D.A. Loferski. Burial: Cedar Memorial. Friends may call at the chapel.
