Miss Robinson Dies.
Miss Henrietta Robinson, 79, a lifelong resident of the Marion vicinity, died Tuesday at 11:40 a.m. in a Cedar Rapids hospital following a brief illness.
Miss Robinson was born March 18, 1872, in the home in which she had been living at the time of her last illness, two miles north of Marion on the Alburnett road. She was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Adams Robinson, early Linn county pioneers. She was a graduate of Marion high school. A nephew, John Gill, of Marion, and a niece, Mrs. Mary Gill Vaughn, of Phoenix, Ariz., were reared in Miss Robinson's home following the death of their mother.
Miss Robinson was a member of the Presbyterian church and of Chapter CS, P.E.O. Service will be conducted Thursday at 2:30 p.m. in the Yocom-Murdoch chapel by the Rev. C.V.R. DeJong. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel.
