Burial in Marion For Alice Olson, 48
Services for Mrs. Leonard E. Olson, a former Marion resident who died Friday following a long illness at her home in Homewood, Ill., will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m., at the Tews funeral home there. Graveside services will be held here at Oak Shade cemetery Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
Mrs. Olson was born May 13, 1921, at Marion. She was graduated from Marion high school in the class of 1938 and attended the University of Iowa. She was married to Mr. Olson in Iowa City.
Survivors are: Her husband; a daughter, Kathryn at home; four sons, Leonard, jr., of New York, Walter of Homewood, and Ricky and David at home; four sisters, Miss Ellyn McGowan and Mrs. John Byse, both of Cedar Rapids, and Mrs. Malcolm Adee and Mrs. Andrew Kessner[sic], both of San Diego, Calif.; and two brothers, Glenn McGowan of Burlington and Thomas E. McGowan of Marion.
