Death of Miss Lillie Withers.
The death of Miss Lillie D. Withers occurred last Saturday, at the home of her brother, Geo. B. Withers, after an extended illness. The funeral was held Monday at the house, Rev. T.M. Evans being in charge. Miss Withers was born September 29, 1852, at Homer, Ohio, and died in Marion, Iowa, July 8, aged 52 years, 2 months and 21 days. She was the youngest of seven children, her parents and all of the children having died save her brothers, George B., of Marion, Ia.; Frank B., of Atkinson, Neb., and William Austin. She came with her parents to Iowa when about two years of age, making her home in Marion all the years excepting a brief time in Washington county, up to about five years ago, when she went west for her health. Last fall, she returned and has since lived in this city.
