Rites Thursday for Minnie M. Scott, 87
Minnie M. Scott, 87, a lifelong Marion vicinity resident, died Tuesday in Cedar Rapids.
She was born Aug. 16, 1877, on a farm northeast of Marion. She was married to Claude C. Scott at Marion Feb. 26, 1943. Mrs. Scott resided at 950 Twelfth street until recently. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church and a charter member of the U.S. circle.
Survivors are a son, C. Harold Scott of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Helen L. Scott of Pasadena, Calif., and a grandson.
Services: Thursday at 1:30 p.m. in Murdoch chapel by the Rev. Jean P. Hauter and the Rev. Clyde C. Scott. Burial: Oak Shade. Friends may call at the chapel.
