Services Friday for Jessie M. Coffey, 94
Jessie May Coffey, 94, a resident of rural Marion and Prairie Chapel vicinity most of her life, died Wednesday at the home of her daughter in Springfield, Mo., with whom she had made her home the last 15 years.
She was born Nov. 15, 1875, at Cedar Rapids. On Aug. 29, 1905, at Center Point she was married to William T. Coffey, who died in October of 1939. Mrs. Coffey was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Vernon Wagner of Springfield, Mo.; a son, John W. Coffey of Port Angeles, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Services: 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Prairie Chapel Methodist church conducted by the Rev. Clyde C. Scott and the Rev. Harold Wagner. Burial: Prairie Chapel cemetery. Friends may call at the Prairie Chapel church after 11 a.m. Friday. The Murdoch funeral home in Marion is in charge of arrangements.
