Little Edward Milton Kenyon Dies as Result of Injuries Received in Elevator Accident
-----------------
Early Sunday morning, death came to relieve the suffering of little Edward Milton Kenyon, the three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Kenyon, 340 Third avenue west, who was so severely injured Saturday night while with his mother he was riding in the elevator of the Martin Drygoods store.
The little boy got away from his mother, while in the elevator. In some manner he tripped and fell. His head extending over the platform was caught between the floor of the elevator and the ceiling. Doctors were called and the boy taken to St. Luke's hospital, where it was found that his jaw was broken in two places and his face badly cut in five places.
The funeral of Edward Milton Kenyon, the three year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Kenyon, 340 Third avenue west, who died Sunday morning at St. Luke's hospital, from injuries he received in an elevator accident Saturday night, will be held this afternoon from the residence. Rev. Hasty of the Baptist church will officiate. Interment will be made at Marion.
