Rites Saturday for Raymond Fleming, 72
Raymond E. Fleming, 72, a former resident of Alburnett and Marion, died Wednesday at St. Anthony's hospital in Rock Island.
He was born July 16, 1893, at Alburnett. He lived in the Alburnett and Marion communities for many years before moving to Rock Island 30 years ago. Mr. Fleming was employed by International Harvester until his retirement in 1958.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Donald Clark and Mrs. Ralph Chesrown of Marion; a son Ellsworth Fleming of Sioux Falls, S.D.; five grandchildren, and a sister, Lois Fleming of Cedar Rapids.
Services: Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Murdoch chapel by the Rev. Peter M. Morgan. Burial: Oak Shade. Friends may call at the chapel Friday after 11 a.m.
