Fred O. Henak, 79, of 1807 10th St., Marion, a resident of Marion for the past 61 years, died Feb. 25 in a Cedar Rapids hospital. He was born the son of John and Anna Chabal Henak on Feb. 17, 1898 at Oxford Junction. On Jan. 26, 1927 at Marion he was married to Anna Rafter. Mr. Henak was a foreman at LaPlante Choate Co. until retiring, and was a member of the Z.C.B.J. Lodge in Oxford Junction, and the Moose Lodge in Cedar Rapids.

Surviving are his wife; and nieces and nephews.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 28 at the Murdoch chapel in Marion conducted by the Rev. Glen W. Lamb. Interment was in Oak Shade cemetery in Marion.
