Ruth Ester Nelson Neblung, 88, of 225 21st St. NW, died Tuesday in St. Luke's Hospital after a short illness. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, Teahen Funeral Home, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 10 a.m. Friday. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth G. and Donald B., both of Cedar Rapids.

Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Born Feb. 22, 1904, in Dubuque she married Kenneth S. Neblung on Nov. 30, 1922, in Marion. He died Jan. 31, 1992.

Dr. Glenn D. Hunt will officiate. A memorial fund has been established.
