Donovan W. Morrison, 50, formerly of Alburnett, died in Independence, Mo., Wednesday morning, March 6, following a brief illness.
Mr. Morrison was born July 22, 1934 in Marion. He farmed in the Alburnett area until seven years ago when he moved to Independence, Mo. He married Debra M. Webb June 1, 1984 in Independence.
Surviving are his wife, his parents, Walter and Dorothy Morrison of rural Marion, three sons, Randy and Curt of Alburnett and Craig of Central City, Suzanne Fisher of Osborn, Mo., an stepdaughter Rachael Weaver of Independence, two brothers, Kenneth and Richard of Alburnett and one sister, Ilene Strouse of Littleton, Colo., three grandchildren.
Services were held at the Baxter Memorial Chapel, Marion, Monday, March 11 at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Lowell Knauss. Burial Was in Oak Shade Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
