Kenneth L. Morrison, 51, of rural Alburnett, died Tuesday morning in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, after a lingering illness.
Born Dec. 30, 1937, at Marion, he married Luanne Moonen June 30, 1962, at Holdingford, Minn. Mr. Morrison farmed and had previously worked for 17 years for FMC as an assembler.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Aaron of Marion and Nathan of Cedar Rapids; a daughter, Jennifer of Bettendorf; his parents, Walter and Dorothy of rural Marion; a brother, Richard of Alburnett; a sister, Eileen Strouse of Littleton, Colo; and three grandchildren.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, Murdoch Chapel, Marion, by the Rev. Jay Miller of First Presbyterian Church, Marion. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday in the chapel. A memorial fund has been established.
