Dorothy Lee Morrison, 80, of 3306 N. Marion Rd., Mairon, died Saturday morning at her home following a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, First Presbyerian Church, Marion. Friends may call at Baxter-Martinson Funeral Chapel, Marion, from 4 to 8 p.m. today and Tuesday after 9:45 a.m. at the church. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery.
The Rev. Jay Miller will officiate.
Born Dec. 31, 1909, in Marion, she married Waler Morrison June 8, 1933, in Marion. She was a longtime member of the Dorcus Circle, Kitchen Band, Sewing Circle, and served as a 4-H leader for 15 years.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Richard of Alburnett; a daughter, Eileen Strouse of Littleton, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; 11 grandchildren[sic]; and a brother, Ralph Michel of Marion.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Donovan and Kenneth.
A memorial fund has been established.
