Died

At his home in Clinton, of paralysis, May 27th, Rev. Dr. J. H. Rhea, in his 69th year. He was a native of Tennessee, married twice ordained to the minister in 1861, and for thirty years has been a prominent Methodist preacher. Wife and daughter and four sons survive him.

The death of Dr. Rhea evoked many hearty eulogies in the press in different localities where he was known, with regrets for his loss. His body was interred at Mt. Vernon where it is understood Mrs. Rhea will in future reside.
