John C. Adams, 94, or Roswell, N.M., formerly of Marion, died Oct. 13 in a Roswell nursing home. Memorial services: 2 p.m. Thursday, Murdoch Funeral Homer, Marion, Inurnment was in Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.
Survivors {private} and a sister, Eleanor Aker of Tipton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and a brother, Charles.
Born the son of Orlando N. and Mary E. Gillmore Adams on Aug. 15, 1898, in Marion, he married Zelda M. Kirkpatrick there on July 4, 1926. She died in 1983. Mr. Adams farmed in Linn County until his retirement, moving to New Mexico in 1975.
The Rev. Jay Miller will officiate. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
