Caroline Marie Samuelson, 94, a resident of the Hiawatha Care Center, died Friday, March 31, 2000, in the care center following a brief illness. Services: 2 p.m. Monday, Turner Chapel East. There is no visitation. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion. The Rev. William Harnish will officiate.
Survivors include many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Caroline was born April 3, 1905, in Marion, the beloved daughter of Andrew and Scena Jensen Samuelson. She worked for over 18 years as a bookkeeper for Iowa Illinois Gas and Electric and for over 30 years in the office of John B. Turner and Son Funeral Homes. Caroline was a 1924 graduate of Washington High School and was a member of Iota Epsilon Chapter of Pi Omicron National Sorority, and Chapter I.H. of the P.E.O.
