Obituary of A.H. Samuelson.
Andy H. Samuelson was born in Sweden, Sept 4, 1871, and died in Marion, Iowa, Nov. 3, 1914, after a brief illness. He came to America with his parents at the age of nine years. They made their home at Mediapolis and at the age of 20 he came to Marion where he has resided since. He has been in the employe[sic] of the Milwaukee railroad some twenty-three years as bridge builder. On the 26th of May, 1902, he was united in marriage to Miss Scena Jensen, and to this union was given one child Caroline, who with her mother keenly feel this deep sorrow. He is also survived by his father, one sister and two brothers. Mr. Samuelson was a man of few words and one of sober and steady habits. A large circle of friends sympathize with the sorrow stricken family. The funeral services will be conducted from the residence by Dr. C.F. Ensign Thursday afternoon.
