Anna C. Dye, 89, a former Marion resident, passed away Thursday morning at Downey, Calif., where she has resided for the past 31 years. She was born on Dec. 11, 1877 in Denmark and was married to George Dye on Jan. 19, 1899. Mr. Dye passed away on Aug. 6, 1932.
Surviving are 2 daughters with whom she resided, Mrs. John H. Schenken of Downey, Calif. and Mrs. Walter Michalicek of Laguna Hills, Calif.; a son George Dye of South Pasadena, Calif.; and two grand sons; three brothers, Ben Jensen, Same Jensen of Estancia, N.M., Oscar Jensen of San Diego, Calif., and two sisters, Mary Christofferson of Cedar Falls, and Julia Workman, Colorado Springs.
Graveside services were conducted by Rev. Lloyd C. Kellams at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16 at Oak Shade cemetery.
