DEATH OF W.E. CORNTHWAITE
Willis Edward Cornthwaite died early this morning at his home, 353 Third street. He was born in Macon county, Ill., Oct. 3, 1865, son of John and Mary Cornthwaite.
He lived on the farm in Illinois until 1885 when he went to Osage county, Kansas.
July 29, 1889, he was united in marriage to Nora Wagner. To this union five children were born. In 1892 the family returned to Iowa where they have since resided in the vicinity of Marion with the exception of two years spent in Colorado.
Besides the sorrowing wife and five children, Jesse H of Panhandle, Texas, J.A. of Webster City, Iowa, Ralph L. of Springville, Iowa, Mrs. Lola Clark of Ovid, Colo., and Mary at home, he leaves to mourn his loss one brother, John of Macon county, Ill., one half-sister, two half-brothers and six grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements have not been made at this time, but will probably be held sometime Sunday.
