John H. Schenken, 82, of Yorba Linda, Calif.. formerly of Marion, died of a stroke March 20 in a Yorba Linda hospital.
He was born Aug. 10, 1906, at Keystone. Mr. Schenken attended schools at Marion and graduated from Cornell College in 1930, when he moved to California.
Survivors include his wife, Marguerite; a siste, Amy Roberts of Marion; and two brothers, Albert of Marion and Bernard of Muskegon, Mich.
The body was cremated. Burial will be in Oak Shade Cemetery at Marion. Instead of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Cornell College Development Office Athletic Fund, Mount Vernon 52314.
