Mrs. S.C. Fulkerson.
Mrs. Samuel C. Fulkerson, 1524 A avenue NE, a Cedar Rapids resident for 30 years, was fatally injured in a two-car crash seven miles west of Maquoketa Saturday at 3:50 p.m. Born Ruth Amanda DeSilva on June 24, 1898, at Allerton, she was married to Samuel C. Fulkerson Aug. 10, 1916, at Allerton.
Surviving, in addito to her husband are a son, Samuel C. Fulkerson, jr.; her mother, Mrs. Walter DeSilva of Allerton; four sisters, Mrs. J.J. Van Haur of Hilger, Mont., Mrs. P.T. Huston of Bell, Calif., Mrs. Emma Smith of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Gail Richardson of Allerton; one brother, Walter Orville DeSilva, jr., of Santa Ana, Calif.
Services will be announced later. The boyd is at the Turner mortuary.
