Roy E. Todd, 77, of 1060 Sixth street, a retired Marion post office employe[sic], died Wednesday about 9:45 p.m. in a Cedar Rapids hospital after a long illness.
Born Dec. 7, 1876, south of Marion, he lived in this vicinity all his life. He was a member of the Methodist church and a past master and for many years secretary of Trojan lodge 548, A.F. and A.M.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Murdoch chapel Friday at 4 p.m. by the Rev. C.V.R. DeJong. Burial will be in Oak Shade cemetery. Friends may call at the Murdoch chapel.
