Frances I. Taylor, 86, of Alburnett, died June 13, in St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, following a lengthy illness.
She was born the daguhter of Charles and Llucy (Worster) Batchelder on July 17, 1901, at Martelle.
On Nov. 29, 1919, at Springville, she was married to Thomas Taylor, who died March 4, 1979.
Before moving to Alburnett in 1941, she was a former resident of the Springville and Marion area and was a graduate of Springville High School.
Mrs. Taylor was a member of Prairie Chapel United Methodist CHurch and the Cedar Rapids Antique Car Club.
Surviving are a daughter, Pauline Olinger of Alburnett; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
Services were held June 15, at the Murdoch Chapel in Marion with the Rev. David Kruse officiating.
Burial was at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
