Services Today for Former Resident of Marion, Died Mon.
Funeral services were to be held this afternoon at 2:30 from the Yocom chapel form Mrs. Elizabeth Baldwin, age 70, of Cedar Rapids, who died suddenly the afternoon of Christmas day at the home of George H??, 125 S. 2?th St., following a stroke.
She was a long-time resident of Linn county, and for a number of years lived in Marion.
As Elizabeth Reed, daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Reed, she was born August 7, 1862, at LaSalle, Ill. She moved with her parents to Prairieburg, IA., where she spent her girlhood. She was married March 17, 1892 to George R. Baldwin, who died June 9, 1930.
For the last twelve years she had resided at 3111 First avenue, E., Cedar Rapids, moving there from Marion, where she lived a number of years. Mrs. Baldwin was an active member of the Kenwood Park Presbyterian church, where she taught a Sunday school class.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles Martin and Mrs. Glenn Joh??; two sons, Harry and Clifford, all of Cedar Rapids; a step-daughter, Mrs. Mason Wells of Springville, and a step-son, Elmer Baldwin, of Minneapolis. There are three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services were in charge of the Rev. E. Winslow Brown, pastor of the Kenwood Park Presbyterian church, and burial was in Oak shade.
