E.W. Gorsuch Died Yesterday

E.W. Gorsuch, 321 Tenth street, who underwent an operation at Mercy hospital yesterday morning died late yesterday afternoon. He had been ill but a short time previous to the operation and high hopes had been felt for his recovery.
Mr. Gorsuch was born on a farm near Montezuma, Nov. 23, 1880, the youngest of eight children. He was a baker by trade and was employed by the Rubek restaurant and Bakery of Marion for the last eight years.
Surviving are his widow, six children: Mra. Leona Harryman of Marion, Mrs. Ruth Cook of Clinton, Virginia, Edith, Helen and Norma Lee at home. One sister, Mrs. Sadie Morgan o f Stosodero, Cal., and one brother, John of Catal, Cal.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. W.E. Fisher officiating. Interment will be in Oak Shade.
